Cemeteries of Geneva County
Duke Vickrey’s Reconstructed Federal Land Tract Book
The courthouse is located at 200 N. Commerce street and has records from 1898 forward. Some records (1898–1929) have been damaged by floods.
One of the best resources for the county are the cemetery records compiled by Mr. and Mrs. J.R. Phipps, 1962–1972. A copy of the two volume set is available here and at the Alabama Department of Archives and History.
The library also has the Reaper newspaper, original and on microfilm from about 1900 forward.
